Orchard Booster Club is our volunteer-based parent group.
Goals: To do great work for our school and students in our community by offering financial support for supplies, assemblies, field trips, equipment and programs that aren’t covered by our school’s official budget. The support our parent group provides runs the gamut from planning events to supporting teachers in the classroom, and much more.
Structure: The Booster Club operates according to bylaws and manages itself with a board that is elected by members. We have a President, Treasurer and Secretary, along with other committee members who hold regular meetings, document the discussions with minutes and follow all guidelines for keeping financial records, including regular audits and filing of taxes.
Needs: Our group raises funds and requires volunteers to facilitate activities and keep costs down. We are always looking for more volunteers to participate in our planning and running of events and fundraisers.
